Seven Creeks Estate, rich with natural wetlands, abundance of open green space, wide roads, tree-lined streets and picturesque walking paths, is part of the rapidly developing Shepparton south growth corridor. With almost 500 lots completed, this is poised to be one of the region’s most significant residential estates.
Spiire has been engaged by Seven Creeks Corporation to deliver integrated specialist consulting services, including urban design, water engineering, town planning, surveying, civil engineering, electrical engineering, landscape architecture, visual media, construction consultancy and project management services for the project.
Our team’s strong relationships with key authorities and in depth knowledge and understanding of the growth corridor development contributions works has allowed for an efficient approval process and for the timely completion of works to date of this residential estate.
The team have played a key role in solving complex design issues for the development and was responsible for the delivery of all major infrastructure items that service the estate. These include regional wetlands, collector roads, distribution water mains, a regional sewer pump station, major intersections works with the Goulburn Valley Highway and a 1.2 hectare regional play space.
Spiire overcame challenges associated with industry wide power supply issues by resourcing our own in-house electrical engineering capabilities that are Powercor accredited. This move was proven invaluable to our clients, allowing complex issues that arose during construction to be quickly identified and resolved without causing delays.
Furthermore, to extend the life of the development Spiire has played a key role in exploring the feasibility of additional land parcels that surround the estate in the form authority negotiations, development cost estimates and assisting cost models with the developer. This work has proven vital to the success of the project, and Spiire’s in depth understanding of developer requirements has extended the life of the development for the client.
