Simon’s varied background has provided a solid foundation from which he has developed project management and design skills over his career as a landscape architect. He enjoys exploring the balance between creativity and functionality and incorporating intricate detail into simple designs.

Simon has gained a wealth of experience in native grassland and creek regeneration projects and appreciates the importance of carefully selecting plant palettes to suit local conditions both for conservation goals and as a tool to create unique user experiences within constructed landscapes.

He has worked on projects of varying scales, including show gardens, sales offices, streetscapes, parks, wetlands, waterways, apartment towers, industrial estates, community centres, schools, churches, shopping centres, and roads. His experience spans all project phases, from concept and master planning to construction administration and maintenance.

With a strong background in delivering outstanding play space projects, Simon has collaborated with stakeholders to achieve engaging outcomes that prioritise sustainability, conservation, and cultural heritage. His core experience lies in large greenfield residential subdivisions where he focuses on creating legacy landscapes for new and growing communities. More recently he has been involved in several strategic projects for local and state government.
