Spiire was engaged by CRC Constructions Pty Ltd to provide multidisciplinary services at a new lifestyle village in Nagambie.
It is the first section of a substantial proposed community in a prime location on High Street, just north of the town centre, with frontages to Lake Nagambie and the Goulburn River.
Commencing in 2018, our Shepparton-based Town Planning team worked to rezone the former farmland in preparation for the site’s development.
Waterways Lifestyle Village contains 141 lots split into three stages surrounding a suite of resident facilities including a bowling green, gym, pool and community centre. Pathways will connect the village to the future residential development’s waterfront amenities, providing opportunities for residents to enjoy an idyllic riverfront lifestyle.
As the first step in a significant addition to Nagambie township, the development required considerable external works to extend services to the estate.
Our Civil Engineering team worked closely with local authorities to create infrastructure including the entrance road and its intersection with High Street and a new sewer pump station developed with Goulburn Valley Water that will support a large portion of the future residential community.
Through our practice of developing strong relationships with stakeholders, we have worked through the challenges of connecting to the existing network.
The concept designed by our Landscape Architects includes visual elements inspired by the site’s connection to water and the riverfront lifestyle, ample picnic and seating areas in the open spaces, and planting that reflects key features of the Nagambie region and is suited to the local climate.
Our Shepparton team also provided Construction Consultancy Services through the construction phase.
